We have an important update to share with you guys today: Nautic XP is now called Professional Ship Simulator. The Early Access launch on Steam is scheduled for 2026.

The new name reflects the direction the project has taken over time: a highly realistic, system‑driven maritime simulation with a strong focus on authentic ship handling, professional workflows, and true‑to‑life physics. No worries: The simulator's core vision stays the same: it's still a realistic, uncompromising ship simulation featuring large, real-world maritime environments and complex ship systems.

To mark this step, we’ve released a new gameplay trailer showcasing the current state of development and the level of depth you can expect:

I understand that the devs want to keep us hyped for the official release by keeping the playtime short but I'm sure we will still be hyped even when the playtime is unlimited. I mean 20min in open world isn't even enough to park your ship out of the harbour.......

4070 or RX 7800 XT, really??? and a 4060 at the minimum?

What is this? Star Citizen?

If my RX 6800 can't handle this game, I guess I am not buying it.

Do not work on Linux

All is said in title : Kubuntu 26.04, Intel i7, Geforce RTX 2070 Super, 32 Go RAM. Do not work : got a blank screen after launching, some background music, but nothing more.

Keeps shutting down after every tutorial

I don't get the point, after a 5 minute tutorial I get the "thanks for playing the demo" and it shuts down by itself
