Reset Video settings

Is there a way to reset the video settings? It was working great till i switched to 4k, and then fullscreen. I'd like to get it back to windows mode. Basically it goes to a black screen and intermitent audio after the games workshop logo disappears.

Hi,

First, just to be sure that nothing is wrong with the files of the game (from the FAQ):

A. Please check that Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is correctly installed:

1. Run Steam and click LIBRARY.
2. Right click on 'Battlefleet Gothic: Armada' and click 'Properties'.
3. Click the tab 'LOCAL FILES' then click the button 'VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE'.

If nothing is wrong then you can go in the game's files to change it manualy:

B. Change the video settings without starting the game:

1. On your computeur, go to C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\BattleFleetGothic\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
Make sure you have checked the "masked elements" in your explorer or you won't find the AppData folder
2. Open the GameUserSettings.ini files (using the Note pad)
3. Change the ResolutionSixeX and ResolutionSizeY to something that was working before, ResolutionSixeX=1920
ResolutionSizeY=1080
4. To pass the game in windowed mode, change FullscreenMode from 0 to 2,
FullscreenMode=2
Fullscreen is 0, Windowed Fullscreen is 1 and Windowed is 2
5. Save the changes
6. Start the game

Thanks so much for your help, that is exactly what I needed!!

I've tried this. It doesn't work. My video settings keep resetting to 2560 and 1600. I end up with a black screen and nothing is displayed on my computer, making playing the game impossible now.

I'd like to correct this so I can play the game again.

If you encounter this type of issue, do not hesitate to download those files and to replace your Game.ini and your GameUserSettings.ini by his.
