Some particular reason the execute button doesnt work?

Title, why is this mechanic in the game when I cant use it during the 1st mission?

Sounds like a strange bug. Sometimes moving your view with the arrow keys/middle-mouse button can help, or alt-tabbing. If that doesn't then it's a bug. On the first mission its set-up so that you have to do it, to teach you how it works (and cause its one of the awesome grimdark 40k things).

Check your keyboard settings. During the launch of the game, some of the key mapping got shuffle.

I actually looked for a hotkey in options when it didnt work in the first place, I saw no execute control for the keyboard

Hmm its too bad I didnt try alt tabbing, maybe that wouldve worked, tnx

I had this in the SP Campaign with a cancel warp jump button. It cost me the mission.

I did read though that clicking above it actually works but never had the chance to test it.

Yeah same thing I'm describing haha, so it works in any other mode?

There is a bug in the tutorial mission, it has happened to me on 2 different occasions, the first I didn't have tactical cogitators engaged and by the time the comissar had finished waffling on, my ship warped out merrily leaving me on my own despite clicking furiously on the execute captain command. On another occasion the ship still warped out whilst tactical cogitators were on.

I had it in multiplayer. Can confirm alt-tabbing worked for me (though you obviously have to be quick).

Hopefully the devs cant get a fix on this with the next patch

It's a similar issue with the redeploy button. I found that zooming in sometimes fixes it. Seems like a hitbox issue.

Resetting controls to default and pressing "R" (contextual action) worked for me. But they definitely should look at it.

lmao naw i clicked everywhere and anywhere near that button lol, its fine now i was just making sure it was an actual bug, also i generally find it irritating when something in any game tutorial is bugged, like really?
