It works on your machine, congratulations, you were lucky enough to pick the right one.
No I expect people who pay a lot of money for a PC, to be able to use them correctly.
I was not lucky, I did the courses as an old man, and every game I buy works just fine.
Thank you for your input.
Cool.
My machine runs GTA V on high settings without major issues.
But Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 crashes constantly.
So... is that a “me” problem or a “game” problem?
I’ll let you guess. (:
No its not you personally, its your lack of understanding the procedure to check logs, find information on it and implement a fix.
It may take some time, and of course if your CPU is a newer one 13th Gen and up, there may not be a fix, and you will need to just forget about it.
Then you follow it up with "it's not you personally, it's your lack of understanding of the procedure to check logs, find information on it and implement a fix". So... users are now responsible for debugging and fixing the game themselves? Not the developers?
And finally: "if your CPU is a newer one, 13th Gen and up, there may not be a fix and you will need to just forget about it."
So there is a luck factor involved — something you explicitly denied when you said "I wasn’t lucky...". The truth is: you were lucky enough to have hardware that happens to be compatible and the technical skills to work around issues. That doesn’t invalidate other people’s frustrations, nor does it make the game exempt from criticism.
