Pre order bonus

I just noticed the release date is given now and the bonus for pre order is the space marine fleet, just wondering if there is any info on ship abilities or is it just cosmetic differences?

Pre-order bonus is indeed an extra space marine fleet, which will be purchasable later as well. So I guess it is like in Blood Bowl if you pre-ordered you would have gotten an extra race for free that you can buy as dlc afterwards.

Also don't forget the multiplayer beta a few weeks before release is also included.

it's not neccesarily evil. DLC on release does show they've either taken part of the game out and put it behind a paywall or they've taken precious dev time away from the game and put it into DLC, which doesn't do the game any good...

Or it means the developed something a little extra as a pre-order bonus as a way of showing thanks to those who put trust in them and pre-ordered.

Also, it's not behind a paywall, you get it for free if you pre-order. You only have to pay for it if you don't pre-order.

This argument is like walking into Subway with a coupon that gives you a free sub with 12 punches on it, but you only have 3 punches and claiming they're robbing you. After all, they've got all the content right there, why don't they give you your free sandwich? Well, because you didn't meet the requirements of the offer.

Correction. You get it for free if you buy the game within the 1st 2 months after launch. Had this been a pre-order bonus only I would agree that this was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ being used to bully people into buying a game early. In this case .... It seems like a nice way to thank people for buying into the game in the early days.

Bully? Rewarding pre-orders is now bullying? Wow, the entitlement is strong nowadays. I remember back when if you didn't pre-order, you didn't get the extras. Then people whined and cried that they were being "left out" and "bullied" because they didn't get the extras, despite the fact that they didn't pre-order, so they opened it up for people to buy after the fact. Then people whined MORE that they should get it for free.

If you want the free stuff, do what's required in order to get it for free. Otherwise, you don't have a leg to stand on and you're just whining like an entitled brat.

The offer doesn't end on release date either guys, it continues for 2 months or so since the sm race are not playable for weeks after launch.
