Might open a thread on the technical forums about this
other games have it.. main one I recently played was black desertthere is an optino to blur everything in the distance for some reason.. gets turned off right away in most games hehe..
Yes, I own a GTX970, another game which also happens to be blurry at native resolution is Black Ops 3, which is an issue I assumed stemed from the game itself.
How do we get rid of the blurring? Is it a mis-configured setting in the Control Pannel?
I had that trouble with Dawn of war II before, alternating between blurring when the screen was on the move and clear graphics when it was still. I found the solution by entering Nvidia's control panel. Then, I went to "manage 3d parameters" (sorry, I have to translate everything from my own language..) there you have a "box" with two options, either "global parameters" or "programs parameters". Obviously you chose the second one. Then you will have to select among your programs our good ol' "Battlefleet Gothic Armada". Set up the settings you desire and look for "texture filtrage- negative LOD distorsion". Then you have to chose the "fixation" option. For me it worked and I got ridd of this blurring effect.
I hope it is the "blurr" you are talking about :/
Graphic card: GTX760
Furthermore, it has to be kept in mind that the "ship blurring effect" is completely natural when you look at them from afar. It gives more realism but also optimize the performances so you will have no lag when you have many ships on the screen. It is from common usage in modern MMOSTR (World of Warship, World of Tanks).
Thank you, will give it a shot.
Yes, am aware. Unfortunately, this "blurr" I am talking about isn't related to the Level of Detail, but the overall screen resolution, as it looks as if it had vaseline spludged all over it.
Reducing the AA to High and switching the LoD Negative Distortion to Clamp has made a difference, but only marginally.
Ideally, I want the crisp and clear images and shots available in the trailers.
