Execution hour and shadow point by Gordon Rennie. Set aboard dictator class cruiser (or Mars class can't recall) Lord solar macharius. Very old now (early noughties) might be hard to find but reprinted both together in a anthology in 2010, called the gothic war I think, had a graphic novel included too, a good read.

Dictator Class Cruiser.
In addittion to those you might like Star of Damocles and Rogue Star, although they are about Rogue Traders not the Imperial Navy.

And then there is Relentless which has the Imperial Navy.

Not BFG, but there is a fairly recent mechanicus series out there that features a mechanicus ark. The books are called gods of mars, priests if mars and something something of mars, by Graham McNeill. I enjoyed that one

I will note, that Execution Hour and Shadow Point are the only books set in Battlefleet Gothic.

I was wondering the same thing as the OP

Execution Hour and Shadow Point are masterpieces and I heartily recommend them!

Also the Crimson Fist novella is about a big space battle in the phall system (where the imperial fists give the iron warriors a trashing)

There's a number of books that feature a space battle. One of the ultramarines novels features a couple of fleet engagements against the tyranids.

I second the recommendations for Execution Hour & Shadow Point. The Rogue Star & Star of Damocles are also pretty good in terms of ship fighting fun. Relentless was ok too, but centered mainly on how life is aboard an imperial ship.

night lords series they are based off a strike cruiser. They still do a buncha landing stuff, but its got alot of space too.

I know these aren't in the Warhammer 40k universe but I'm currently working my way through the Lost Fleet series by Jack Campbell. Lots of space fleet battles but what is interesting is he takes into account that the ships would be travelling at close to the speed of light, what that would mean to fleet engagements, tactics etc. If you run out of Warhammer stuff then I would recommend it.

Yep an Awesome series that I have in paperback. There was also the series about he rogue trader Family - Rogue Star and Star of Damocles by Andy Hoare. The next closest that I can think are some novels that have some large fleet engagments; the Gods of Mars series - 2 books of the three are all about a long space bound journey. Some of the Soul Drinker series also have some decent fleet battles - They took over possibly the largest space hulk found and turned it into almost Phallanx Mk II

Execution hour is pretty awesome.

Also, for GREAT starship books, check out Fight for the Abyss and Flight of the Eisenstein. Set during the Horus heresy but excellent ship stories.

You get to follow a loyalist World Eater in Abyss, which is exactly as sweet as it sounds.

I would definitely reccomend the Night Lords series, Soul Hunter, Blood Reaver and Void Stalker. They're a good read. Also the Word Bearers omnibus was pretty good as well, with the over the top Possessed marine character's antics on the battlefield. That being said, there's also the Iron Warriors series, as well the solo-book Siege of Castellax, which has an Obliterator going all murderish and what not.

However, if you want to fanboy over the loyalists winning against impossibly impossible odds, there's the Brotherhood of the Snake book about the Iron Snakes chapter of Spartan Hoplites in power armor and their beloved shield wall (literally). Or there's the Ultramarines books. Alternately there's the first book of the Space Wolves novels that's really good, has to do with Ragnar Blackmane's initiation into the chapter. Don't bother with the rest of the series though.
