the original game was turnbased, which is why there's so much micro.

ok so just beacause something is based off of a tabletop game doesnt mean it need to be turn based I mean after all the turn based nature of that game is simply a limitation on how tabletop games work. Also my point still stands considering starcraft was originally going to be a rts based on 40k tabletop...

I'm glad you have caught on to my talents :D
As I said in my earlier post starcraft was going to be based off of 40k before games workshop dropped the progect and yet it seems a strange question to ask if it has a turn based mod does it not XD
Also considering that the first thing people did was laugh at you I would think your smart enough to have your answer already :D

I don't know anything about Starcraft. What the hell does that have to do with my simple question? People make mods for pc games all the time. Oh, and learn to spell.

True people do make mods all the time but I dont think youll find a starcraft mod that remakes the normal game into a turn based version.
If you want to play a turn based version why not just play the mobile game that came out?

i hate to get super-technical, but there are actually gammodes in Starcraft that turn it into a turn-based game.

but those tend to still be 'real-time' with the turn-based part being rather awkward.

true but it doesnt recreate the normal game mode as far as I know? Like no one has made the story mode turn based for example

That’s actually what caused me to question whether it had been done for BFG (that and the release of BFG2)

it will be a big patch, for sure. you can probably find a dev dirary if you search for it. and it will be an option, eaither real time, or turn based
