The development of Harvest Scream is progressing better than ever. I’m happy to share that the multiplayer integration was a success, and I am now very close to completing the main gameplay loop. As a solo developer, seeing the game finally take its true shape is incredibly exciting, and I wanted to give you a clear look at what happens next.

I’ve prepared a roadmap for the next two months to show you the final steps toward launch:

• Month 1: The Playtest Phase

  My top priority right now is ensuring the core gameplay loop is as stable and polished as possible. Next month, I’ll be opening a Steam Playtest.

  Please note: This test will focus specifically on the core mechanics and level structure rather than the full game content. I need your feedback on how the game feels and performs to make sure the foundation is solid before the big day.

• Month 2: Content Integration & Maximum Fun

  Once the core mechanics and stability are rock-solid, I’ll dedicate the following month to integrating the full range of in-game content. This is where I’ll be finalizing the variety of features and surprises that flesh out the world, ensuring everything connects perfectly with the core gameplay loop for a rich, complete experience.

• The Launch: If everything goes according to plan during these two months, I will be announcing the official release date!

Harvest Scream: Official Development Roadmap.

Hello everyone! Sorry for the radio silence, I've been working hard behind the scenes!

It has been a while, but I am thrilled to finally share a massive update for the demo. As I’ve hinted before, I decided to take our vision to the next level. The game has evolved into a much more polished experience, focusing on a unique and atmospheric blend of farming and horror that I believe you will find much more engaging.

While this project has been in development for 2 years, I have spent the last 8 months specifically rebuilding the core to bring you a multiplayer experience. Transitioning from a single player focus to a fully functional multiplayer world was a huge technical challenge, and I am so excited that you can finally experience this world together with your friends.

To ensure quality during this transition, the current demo content is kept concise for now. However, you can rest assured that the full release will be packed with much more variety, fun mechanics, and deeper content. For those of you who loved the previous version, please don't worry. The core of the game hasn't been replaced; instead, it has been refined. I’ve focused on creating a more rewarding farming and horror cycle that works perfectly whether you are playing alone or in multiplayer.

Regarding technical details, I have added controller support to the game. Since I don't currently have a gamepad to test it myself, I would appreciate your patience. You can see and adjust all the buttons in the Keybindings section of the settings if you prefer playing that way. Since this is now a multiplayer experience, your feedback is more important than ever. I am very open to hearing your thoughts, so please let me know if you encounter any bugs or if you have suggestions to help me make the game even better.

The next step for the game will be Early Access. While I can’t give a definitive release date just yet because this is a challenging but exciting journey, I am doing my absolute best to have the game ready for you this Summer.
