But i love the Megaman 1 remake for PSP too. It's awesome.
MM4 (Introduces Dr. Cossack and its awesome fortress themes) and MM6.
2. MM7
3. MM6
can't wait till i can play this collection, why can't they release it a bit early, like now :)
01) Megaman 2 -> Perfection. Timeless music, superior level design and balanced difficulty.
02) Megaman 9 -> Usefull weapons, 8 Bit, great music, sometimes tough as nails
03) Megaman & Bass -> Insanely hard, brutal level design and unforgiven gameplay
04) Megaman 1 -> Tough as nails, legendary music and the one that started it all
05) Megaman 3 -> Perfect balanced, lame castle stages
06) Megaman 5 -> Nice gameplay ideas, more polished then four
07) Megaman 4 -> Trying something new, but in the end it was the same
08) Megaman 7 -> The game is so slow, but so much new gameplay mechanics
09) Megaman 8 -> ♥♥♥♥♥♥ arcarde sections, bad voice acting and boring castle stages
10) Megaman 10 -> Strange Weapon system, challenging level design, unlogical storyline
11) Megaman 6 -> Short levels, Easy without end, some nice gameplay mechanics
12) Megaman & Bass 2 -> Weird robot masters, challenging gameplay, weird level design
This guy nailed it - great list. 2 is easily my favorite of the original 6. I wouldn't have included Megaman & Bass because I never played them, but his order for 1-10 is spot on.
Thank you :)
You should play Megaman & Bass, but only the first one. The second one is not worth the money and trust me it costs a lot. You need a wonderswan and then the game, its expansive.
People who always say that Mega Man 2 is perfect, that every Mega Man game that is not Mega Man 2 is bad, that Mega Man 2 has perfect music, best level design, best bosses...
You know what? Mega Man 2 is not.
It's not perfect, each Mega Man game is good on it's own.
It's music is not perfect. It's overused and sometimes too repetitive. Mega Man 10 has the best music in entire Classic series.
Best Level Design is in Mega Man 7, because there are a lot of secrets.
Best Bosses are in Mega Man 5-8 and Bass, by best i mean best design. designs in Mega Man 1-4 and 9-10 are too simple... they look like something that was drawn by a kid that is good at drawing proportions, but bad at complex designs... In later Mega Man games boss design is best... for classic series.
Best art is in Zero and ZX series.
Anyone who says that Mega Man 2 is best is most predictable person, that loves to stay in the wave of what other people love.
