Who is the hardest robot master?
For me, it's Ring Man from 4.

Always charge as soon as you have sent away the previous charge.
Yes, the guy is cake now, and I've even got his pattern down. I was doing something before that was making him throw an additional boomerang.

Thanks!

Dive Man can be pretty tough with just the Mega Buster. Are we talking without special weapons or what?

Hard man, of course :megamanjump:

Elec Man, if only for the sheer brokenness of the fight. Elec Man is still the only boss that forces me to use a special weapon; I can tackle pretty much any other boss in the series with the M. Buster.

If we're talking about non-broken RMs, Nitro Man on hard difficulty is nothing less than insane. I was forced to constantly pause and switch to Chill Man's weapon to neutralize his attacks in order to earn the gold medal for his challenge. It was the only boss in the game that forced me to do so, I think.

This. Nitro Man fight on hard is pure madness, but I have managed to beat it with buster only... like 2 times. Definitely the hardest robot master for me too, Solar Man being 2nd and, I don't know, maybe Quick Man takes the 3rd place.

Also, try killing Mr.X 2 boss with buster only and no jet adaptor. It's possible, but something I don't want to do ever again

I would say Elec man, but i think there is 2 other robot masters that share same spot for me:

Elec man, Centaur Man and Bright Man.

Centaur Man is a d!ck!

Most of the really hard ones have been mentioned. I find the MM3 Quickman fight to be a huge pain as well if that counts. Even with his weakness weapon (which is the super annoying to use beam) I usually have to burn a tank or even two. I can't imagine without the weapon, he's just so bulky and fast he's extremely hard to avoid ramming into.
ElecMan.

For people who thinks Elec Man is the hardest, pause trick. Now it's one of the easiest boss

Am I the only one who found out about the pause trick AFTER I beat MM1? Like I beat MM1 for the first time after I got the Legacy Collection, and didn't find out about the pause glitch until I saw a leaderboard replay for the Yellow Devil Challenge.

So does the pause glitch work for every MM1 Boss?

ofc it does haven't you done the challenges? just watch the top player replay

I'm assuming you are talking to me. And if you read my post, you will see that I do check the replays. The top replay for the MM1 Boss Rush-No Items did not use the pause glitch (at least at the time I completed it) for any boss. Maybe some did. I did not check them all, only the top replay.

It would seem to me that the pause glitch would not work for the Robot Master bosses in MM1 because they have the invulnerability period after they are hit with the buster. At least ElecMan, FireMan, and CutMan do.

Tough choice. But i would say Burner Man or Dynamo Man. But wait, there is still King, when you survive Megaman & Bass King Stage 2 then you know what i mean. In general, i would say every robot master from Megaman & Bass is a nightmare. At least when you play as the blue bomber.

But from the first 6 games? Megaman 6 is totaly easy, you can beat every robot master with buster only without any training. Megaman 5 is medicore, Stone Man can be a pain in the ass. Megaman 4, Toad Man. No doubt about. Nah, just kidding. There is no tough robot master in 4. Even 3 lacks of a good fight, but without the right weapon Snake Man and Needle Man can kick your ass in no time. Megaman 2 is Quick Man when you don't have Flash Stopper. Megaman 1, Elec Man. Tough to kill, brutal damage. I mean 2 or 3 hits and your are gone. Tough. Even tougher when you play Powerd Up. I hate Oil Slider.
