Capcom lied, the collection is just an emulator and roms.

That's not an uncommon thing for a lot of these re-releases. They use stripped down versions of emulators. What did Capcom lie about? Did they say they weren't going to do this?

Why are we supposed to care if their roms or not? They work so who cares? Meh, maybe people want new games, but playing these retro games in their original formats is pretty awesome!

Lying is bad, but sadly we all do it, even your mother.

I've said from the beginning, the current price is a little to high but I'm happy so thanks Capcom for bringing me back to my childhood. It was the best time of my life!

Basically they said they used actual NES hardware and touted it as an all new engine that would provide superior quality to anything on the market. The fact is that it's just an open source emulators and roms that you can throw into any emulator and they'd work. It's disgusting.

This was discussed in numerous threads long before release so I'm not sure why people keep ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it. If this was ever a deal breaker you should do your research before buying games.

Yep read the news.

It makes sense why this "engine" was running as the same as an emulator, why they cant put Complete Works music and why we cant edit the resolution options, etc.

Its actually 6 roms with save states inside the .exe

"Developed with an all-new engine..."
An engine that reproduces the state so a rom can work its an Emulator.

Looks like someone used a hex editor to find the rom of MM2 inside the .exe, they got that rom and the address, ran it in a emulator and it works just fine. That means finding the others inside could be a matter of time.

Unlike the Anniversary which achieve a lot more than just emulating.

What did the OP think this was going to be, Megaman 1-6 reworked from the ground up running natively on Windows? Seems pretty obvious that it was going to be emulation.

You are so dumb it hurts. You literally payed for an emulated game. WHICH YOU CAN EMULATE YOURSELF FOR FREE, and it would run better in every way. Steam achievements do not make this worth £12/$15
