Doesn't like my Donop or my XBOX 360 controller... really feel cheated with the "Full controller Support" tag

I had the same issue. Had to download DS4Windows to make it work. My 360 controller works fine, though.

Tell me about it. When i first heard that this collection, Was coming to steam.
The first thought that popped in my head was, This will be great to play this NES controller as it was originally intended. Only to find out, That you could only play this with a Xbox pad.

So your not the only one who feels cheated.:(

I have an x360 pad but the d-pad is horrible.
I know how that feels. I just got the game and I can't get my controller (which is a Gigaware controller) to work.

it's a free XInput emulator for DirectInput controllers

works with most games that only support xbox controllers that i've tried, including mm legacy collection

everything is explained on x360ce's official web site

it needs some runtimes and .net framework installed on your system, but a guest you have them already if you could start the configurator

next, you need to put the files (including the .ini and .dll it creates) into your game dir, which is here for mega man:
"in your Steam folder" /steamapps/common/Suzy/

also, you must use the 32bit version for 32bit games and 64bit version for 64bit games

note: mega man legacy collection needs the 32bit version

lastly, you'll here a sound when starting the game to let you know it works

hope this helps
