It's called 20XX, bought it along with Mega Man Legacy Collection and all I can say is "Damn, so this is what it would be like if Capcom gave a ♥♥♥♥ about the series still."

I just had to record footage and post, this is seriously one of the best Mega Man clones I've ever seen, probably one of the best games I've seen period. So just raising awarenes

Actually, I think it resembles Mega Man X more than it resembles MN9. It's more like what you would get if you mixed MMX with a rogue-like. Not only that, but there are two playable characters... and the other character plays like Zero.

It's a very good game! I haven't played it in a while, but from what I've seen in the video there's been some significant updates. I should play it again soon.

They recently came out with a mod that lets you edit the sprites of the two playables, check the 20XX forum for it

Yep, 20XX is essentially a rougelike Mega Man X. It's great and plays similar, but there are also quite some differences (like pickups and upgrades). Also it has a rather nice difficulty curve IMO.

And that's a bad thing? Anyway i would say for what i've seen, that it's structurally like Metroid,
and plays like Mega Man.

And judging from how Mighty No. 9 has turned out, we could all do with more games like this.
