Is MM1 megamix intended to be beaten with the pause glitch ?
Like serious question, Ididn't have a hard time with the other challenges so far, but I always end up to times likle 5:00 or 5:30, Fighting yellow devil with only 30s left, wich is impossible since you fight him with cycles.

Didn't see anyone beating it glitchless so far, so, is the gold calculated if you use the glitch ?

You can use the glitch I think.

Yeah, they definitely want you to use the glitch to get the gold medal time on that challenge, which is pretty damn gay if you ask me. I don't really care if people use the various glitches, but for them to make it NECESSARY to get the gold time is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lame. I wanted to do them all without the glitches. :(

The strangest thing is that you don't need to do it to get gold for the yellow devil challenge itself :/

Considering this is a mode centered around more competitive play, rather than just a casual for-fun mode, it makes sense they'd require the pause glitch. To ignore the pause glitch would be to ignore an extremely easily executed technique that shaves off tons of time. Preventing the player from using the pause glitch would be inaccurate representation of the original game, and choosing not to account for the potential time save would make the Gold time extremely easy -- which destroys the entire point of having an extra challenge mode.

Exactly, it is cheap but if you want a good time on the challenges they are there.
