What to do when stranded?
If you're stranded somewhere, what's the best course of action? Do you have to abandon the ship permanently or can you recover it somehow?

This depends on a few variables.

If you are stranded in a more traditional sense, with your ship out of fuel, you could respawn, build a cheap shuttle and then make some fuel to get you from A to B.

Or order a fuel drone from the GRIP?
I usually don't refer to that as a valid solution. It has a habit to be way overpriced.

Drone can be found under services in the GRIP. Top right if memory serves right.

You should be able to find your own ships on your HUD in the pilot seat at any given time, so long as the beacon is on.

Thank you both! Oh I wish I had found services earlier, would've saved some disabled ships. Anyway, drone worked on my cheap ship, I will try the beacon once I have enough money to open a rift to the system where I left the stranded ship.

For what it's worth you can always see all your ships on the HUD, no transponder necessary.
