Heat Sink T1
So why is it made out of Aluminum? I mean there really is NO reason to ever use a T1 Heat Sink, the T2 is easier to make, even in the early game long before you even have a Reactor.

Why not make it be Iron, it fits the icon better too (white). Its been something that always was in the back of my head going "Why would I ever build a T1 heat sink when the T2 takes Copper instead of the harder to find (and mine) Aluminum".

So is the Iron Turbine. Why would you ever make it when you could make Steel turbines for slightly more and generate a ton more energy.

Agreed. I think the Steel Turbine should be the low level one, and there should be a new one higher then Plat. Like Alimunum Turbine, that takes both Steel and Alum to make prduces more power (25k per a turbine) and lasts the duration of Pu-241.

The T1 Heatsink should be the Current T2, with the T2 being the current T3 (in cost and effectiveness) and a new T3 being one that takes 100 alium, 50 bur, 50 Det. Making it very expensive to build, but have a durability of 30.5 hours (so it can catch the cooldown of the reactor) to match Pu-241's fuel duration of 30 hours.

Reactors are awesome fun things to use, but fuel and turbine and heatsink durations do not line up as you tier up, this needs to be changed. Its fine to have to come back and check on them, but you shouldn't need to have to worry every 10min about weather or not your reactor will go critial on you.

Agreed.

I didn't even touch the Tier-1 Heat Sinks or Turbines. No reason to.

Agree. T1 sinks and iron turbines are completly pointless.

I personally don't use anything but T2 heatsinks, and T3 turbines. Aluminum is far too hard to come by, so what I'll usually do is run through my higher grades rods in conjunction with a few lower grade rods, so T2 heat sinks still do the job just fine. However, I see zero reason to use either iron or steel turbines ever. In addition to the platinum turbines being many magnitudes better in the various stats than the other turbines, using other turbines basically wastes your very valuable, hard to come by, uranium. What would be really neat is a system that lets you control the rate of fuel rod consumption.
