One-handed weapons skill is not counted when dual wielding, is it?

Are both used? Or just one? Since I'm using two single-handed weapons, does it use the skill from single-handed weapons? Or only from dual wield?

When you equip a single one-handed weapon with nothing in the off-hand, or a single one-handed weapon with a shield in the off-hand, then the skill One-Handed Weapons is used.
When you equip two one-handed weapons, one in each hand, then the skill Dual Wield is used.
The above applies for both melee weapons and thrown weapons.
While we're on the subject of which weapon combinations use which skills, I'd like to add that when Kills-in-shadows equips either a one-handed weapon or a two-handed weapon, in both cases the skill One-Handed Weapons is used.
