...you completely misinterpreted that. Verse is (initially, at least) loyal to Verse, no one else. And she seems to hate giving a damn about other people, although she has done so in the past, and may still do so against her will, on occasion. But she just wants to have fun and kill people and ♥♥♥♥ like crazy in wild orgies as much as she can before she dies. "Loyalty" doesn't enter into it, and she only ever heeds it because it's more beneficial and practical for her to have some allies to cover her ass than it is for her to try fighting/slaughtering the entire world and attaining enough power to never have to worry about anyone else being able to boss her around, ALL on her own. She knows that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with Kyros is a bad idea no matter who you are (unless you have and can effectively wield Kyros-level power, in which case it's not only a viable idea, but even a desirable one), she knows that serving Tunon is second only to serving Kyros directly, and she knows that this service is a major step up from serving Nerat which will vastly improve her standing in the world. The Chorus aren't Verse's "own", they're just the best option (in her view) that was available to her at the time, and she happily switched to the better option the moment it became viable.
