Know that picking just one frost specailization cucks you out of a talent tree point. Pick two frost specailization nets you JUST one. Kinda sad and dumb. I suggest you double specalize in two handers for two talent points. Raise your Lore high (lore is the be all and end all for magic) and buy the frost scroll from the vendor in the Disfavoured camp.
Without starting with frost specailization it is going to take you awhile fruitlessly casting and missing with Frozen Grasp and soon after Rimespike while the Frost Magic skill trains up. It mostly governs accuracy and crits. Shouldn't take too long though.
A big reason you might focus on Frost magic is for the Crowd Control. You may want only a mediocre Wits stat - your spells won't do as much damage but instead your ice debuffs will last for a really long time. To do that raise Might and Resolve (not Wits) high. A high Resolve will also boost a lot of defences turning your Death Knight into more of a frontliner.
Good Luck!
