Maybe check out Wasteland 3. Them adding co-op was one of the biggest disappointments for me there, sounds like something that you'd appreciate though.
Kinda glad this game won't have any mp or romances. More focus on other things but I am a lone wolf kinda guy and enjoy single player games more.
There is nothing to say that you can't have both and I'm guessing you never played Baldur's gate or the other classic games just like this that had Multiplayer function and it worked just fine. And if you say that not eveybody wanna play in Multiplayer then just DON'T, because that's to hard for you? I got friends I wanna play these kinds of games with and we have done it for ages. It's just plane lazy not to implement Multiplayer this time around.
Yes you might be right about that more so when it comes to PoE. However, adding MP this time around should be quite easy for them.
How are you coming to that assumption? I imagine it's actually quite difficult. The game would have to be built from the start with multiplayer in mind.
If they wanted to they could implement MP, it's quite simple. As stated before, previous games of this sort had Multuplayer starting 1997. Stop beeing defencive about it, it's no excuse.
Looking forward to the single player focused RPG of Tyranny.
Divinity original Sin is pretty much the perfect multiplayer RPG. That'd be better. Especially check the second one out.
I dare say we're all cRPG veterans here.
What I will say however is that amongst all my like-minded friends who grew up with and recall and reminisce about it; literally not a single one puts BG on a pedestal for its 'Multiplayer' mode. It was all great storytelling and single player RPG goodness across the board that we shared stories about. I'd disagree that it 'worked fine' personally the one or two times I actually decided to give it a go also.
Just not at all the type of genre or style of game that lends itself to online play in my opinion. Not in the way that I play my cRPG's anyway.
I can't at all fathom needing to sync up schedules and organize a day and a time to sit down with friends and play for an hour or so, again and again over the weeks and months until either one of you just gives up and stops playing or you do eventually finish. Sounds anything but fun from where I'm sitting, and I'd rather take these type of games at my own pace and without people looking over my shoulder telling me to hurry up or to stop reading that flavor text or to stop reloading a game to see different outcomes etc. etc.
To each their own, this one clearly isn't for you hence why I suggested others like Wasteland 3 or even Divinity. Sounds up your alley and what you are looking for, whereas this sounds like what the rest of us prefer.
I want multiplayer in this game soo bad... its totally 0/10 worthless without multiplayer, and iam antisocial as fffffff!!
BEAT my level of antisocialness I DARE YOU!! .. you will lose!!
