Can you end all edicts and claim all spires in one playthrough?
Having completed Burning Library (and been locked out of doing anything other than destroying it by an unfortunate bug), I'm now prompted to the Stone Sea instead of Lethian's Crossing, the other choice I had from Graven Ashe. Is it still possible to claim the Sunset Spire in LC? I visited earlier and I have 2 of the 3 rubbings, but no quests to progress the spire.

You should be able to claim all of the spires. Access to the third rubbing does come from the LC quest line (I'm not 100% sure if you can access it otherwise or not), but worst case scenario you could always guess?

I was able to claim a different spire without the full charcoal image.

You only need two rubbings to figure out the correct pattern. Personally I never found the third one. You actually don't need the rubbings at all. If you manage to guess the pattern, or look it up on the wiki, the portal will still open.

Yeah, I couldn't get into the Ocean Spire after I did the Burning Library. I assume I need another keystone from the Lethian's Crossing old wall.

wait what If I chose the LC quest instead of the library?! Will I lose a spire if I did that?!

If the Library is locked out you don't lose a spire, but you can't end the Edict of Fire.

No, you can still get all spires for sure. I think it keeps you from breaking the Edict of Fire though, so all edicts in one playthrough will be out.

Where are the other Edicts anyway? I only got three on my playthrough.

I may as well do that then, and hope guessing doesn't break a quest somewhere :P

Though in the Ocean Spire, isn't it only loot that's locked out by the two unusable beacons? I unlocked it only using the three stones in those Oldwalls, all three rubbings were there.

Huh, really. I wasn't able to find the spire room for the Ocean Spire. I assumed it was hidden by the doors I couldn't unlock.

Well if you can unlock it without the extra keystones, then you should be able to get all five regardless. I got the LC Spire immediatly after I finished Act I, and nothing locks it out later.

Remember the symbols are symmetrical. Once you know one side you can just mirror it.

Thanks for the info, got Sunset now :P

IIRC, the room was at the top of the Oldwalls East area. I think you might have had to do a little puzzle with three beacons in a row, lighting them up in the correct order about there.

I solved that puzzle. I must have missed a door there.
