Thanks, I was a bit worried I'd missed some vital quest NPC in the Bastard City or something.
Correct. You have to choose the Burning Library when you get presented with 2 options.
The place you dont choose will be locked out for the playthrough.
Then you will have the choice to get there depending on your dialogue with Ashe.
So now I only need to unlock Effigy location on my world map to start the quest, correct? Can you please hint me as to how to do that by a console command? Thank you!
Wut? It's the truest form of an RPG experience.
Yeah, making the game basically linear based on two or three limited choices that you make between the chapters is sooo true to the RPG experience, right.
I don't remember Fallout 2 banning me from certain locations depending on what the game thought I should do next.
Not to mention the Fatebinder should have set it upon himself to resolve as much of Kyros's edicts as possible, as it has been established that it takes away Kyros' power and gives it to the Fatebinder, also increasing the number of various Edicts he/she can issue.
It makes absolutely no sense to lock out the Library because "you havachosen a difarent quast HURRRR". This is not like an RPG at all.
I started somewhat neutral but had a full run with the Disfavored as my main ally afterwards. I just looked up my videos and the questline follows as: (spoilers here)
1.You returned Ashe's daughter to him, prompting him to give you a choice of investigating Burning Library or Lethian's Crossing.
2. You choose the Burning Library, and he directs to find his master scout Maric in Effigy
3. Kill or find a way to get rid of every sage and defenders in Effigy. Find Maric on the top left who is being bound to a pole.
4. Once Maric is released, it will unlock a cutscene where he will give you the location of the Burning Library
Yeah but if you choose the Burning Library it locks you out of the Bronze Brotherhood questline & access to the dungeon inside the spire
