Verse is NOT a good person. She is a ruthless killer. 'Good' behavior doesn't gain her loyalty.
Companions gain loyalty when you make choices that THEY like.
To know how your companions will respond to your actions - you must spend some effort in understanding them.
To put it into an example, Verse might be having great time with you splattering blood all over Tiers in several fashionable ways but your recent actions with a bleeding heart caused her to fear that perhaps you were not who you advertised to be!
