Did you side with the Chorus in the prologue? Why do they even know who I sided with and why would it make a difference to them? Isn't it enough that I'm a fatebinder of Kyros, whom they are at war with? They are at war with Kyros, aren't they? Because I wouldn't know from the difference between what they're talking and how they're acting. Damn, those guys are a mess!
Either way, I wiped them out. You don't ask a Fatebinder of Tunon to pay tolls. Especially when said Fatebinder reminded you that the land that you stand on is owned by Kyros.
Makes sense as well as I sided with the Disfavored too - and Rmon really REALLY hates the Disfavored. Although originally I thought it might have something to do with me letting the Disfavoured taking control of Lethian's Crossing during Conquest (which got the Brotherhood kicked out of town) AND sided with the Disfavored later.
Anyway it sucks because Welby obviously could be reasoned with, but she turns hostile as well when you attack. She could have been like: "Oh you so you attacked Raetemmon, guess this is a chance for me to ally with you and take over the Brotherhood. I know where he's hiding.", but no...
Worse than that it is implied that there is a quest line about contested leadership that is in no way available to you if you sided with the Disfavored, so what's the exposition for? Just make a check for it and have them attack on sight!
Well, execution and genocide reading edicts is sort of in the job description.
