Hide Helmet Toggle?

I want to start by saying that I am very much enjoying this game; however, I went looking for a hide helmet toggle, but couldn't find one. Without spoiling anything for anyone, is there not one because of a certain party member? If it's possible for the Devs to add one and maybe exempt that one guy, I humbly request a hide helmet toggle for the active party. I like to see their hair and faces. I find myself choosing to miss out on benefits from helmets I pick up because my caracter stands out more without them on.

Its in the character screen were you equip armor/weapons. Top left corner.
