I believe the 3rd etching is a quest later on but if you wanted to complete it before that its 2 triangles pointing north and south in the middle, with the circle inside

I second this. I found 2 of the "rune rubbings", but it says there is a third and I don't see one.

Find the two reliefs in the area and make charcoal rubbings of them. There is a third much later but its easy enough to decipher the symbol you need with just 2.

Just right click the rubbings in your inventory and draw that symbol. The only thing which is rather faint with just two is the circle in the middle.
