Honestly the more I hear verse speak the more I think the chorus shouldn't be an army outside the primitive germanic tribes that the Romans fought.

It says a lot about Scarlet Chorus that they can keep up with Disfavored, despite all the advantages Disfavored have.

One always needs elite group of fighters, but also fodder you can just throw at your enemies till enemies have to surrender, simply because they can't win the war of attrition.

Both groups work well together, not in one battlefied, but in overall war. Sometimes you need a dagger, sometimes you need a hammer and having both Disfavored and Scarlet Chorus provides the required versatility .

Er what? The disfavored are the opposite of mercy most options have you kill or burn down towns with giving people no chance to surrender and they are bigots. Scarlets and disfavored are both useless.

LOL! The Disfavored have absolutely no mercy at all. The are far less tolerant than the Chorus on many things and are often the first to require total obliteration of the enemy, even if they surrendered (they remind me of the Sontarans in Dr. Who... which are probably the best "antagonists").

Yes and in conquest they wanted you to cast and edict without any warning killing as many people as possible. On two occassions and they are racist and bigots.

They wanted it casted without warning because they follow the words and laws of kyros to the letter, and in most cases those people were given years to just surrender.

Raiding farms isn't killing civilians if they surrender and become recruits of the Chorus... cf. Verse.

Pretty much this if someone surrenders and wishes to join the chorus they are free to join like Verse ALSO they have laws that children are a prized commodity and should be proctected by their gang boss till they are of age.

Per order of the Archon if a capable tiersmen wanted to join the disfavored they would kick him to the curb and tell him he is not "pure" enough to join and would most likely keep him as a sex slave.

Yes disfavored have sex slaves.

The down side with chorus is that they are brutal and well are a mob but hey I did not side with either of em so yeah.

the disfavored don't want to slaughter civilians let alone sending them meaninglessly to their deaths after just recruiting them, that is how you lose wars as most wars are of attrition something which the chorus seem to not understand.

Just do act 1 and see if they don't want to "slaughter" civilians. They slaughter civilians, enslave tiersmen and they are bigots.

The disfavored and chorus are as bad as each other but for different reasons.
