Feels like Tyranny's skill and spell system is fool proof and you can really just do w/e you want haha
I do think specialized builds are stronger because they require less attributes. With a specialized build you can focus on two attributes.
The other issue is you have a limited amount of slots that fill up quickly.
my lore, sub, and atlethics were so high i was able to do everything in act I and II. without issues. i put 2 point on each stat to begin with and then i focused on quickness for cooldowns.
the i just kept using shortrange spells to train.
you need matrial sigil with it tho but you'll basically have a flame thrower
I find that those illusion spells get super crazy later on, one cast of an aoe spell causes a group of enemies to take like 4-5 debuffs (Confusion + dazed + paralysis + rooted + etc)
