Scarlet Chorus because they're kinda like post-apocalyptic survivors. Read the short story on the site and was instantly reminded me of a tribal faction similar to those in Mad Max's universe.

Currently leaning Scarlet Chorus, I want to play a mage character and they seem to have more options for that. Plus the fire ability you can get during Conquest for supporting them. Voices of Nerat seems more interesting than Graven Ashe anyway.

They both serve Kyros, but the Disfavored appears to be more Lawful Evil, and Scarlet Chorus Neutral/Chaotic Evil.

They both serve Kyros, who is generally seen as evil. Scarlet Chorus is more chaotic, the Disfavored are more orderly. The Rebels are basically the "good" option, but all this depends on in-game perspective.

Probably Disfavoured first since they seem more "orderly", the Scarlet Chorus is practically an army of psychopaths. They have the strength in numbers but I prefer strength in skill an order.
I'm sure the Scarlet Chorus contains many skilled individuals, but most of them are the kind of pitchfork guys. While the Disfavoured are a group of very skilled and very well equipped soldiers

I think everyone is going to be surprised at the strategy and developing story of the Scarlet Chorus. Reading the short story on the game's website showed just animalistic they are but also how smart they can be as well.

I imagine you will end up having to fight one or the other. Clearing screens of dozens of cheap enemies is probably more fun than a few well-armored orderly and disciplined health sponges, to be honest.

I like a bit of crazy in my characters though, the Malkavians in Bloodlines were awesome because they were so out there. I guess it really does boil down to preference though.
