For example if you kill the queen, you get the nickname of 'Queenslayer' and the Guard really hate you. If you negotiate you're the 'Peacebringer' for the opposite reaction. All the choices you make during conquest will pop up at some point or another.
But the major worldchanging visual stuff happens regardless of your role in it. The events in towns you didn't pick in conquest still happen. Just someone else is in charge there.
But I still got her to Favor 4 and force her to teach me Gravelight. ^^
