Modding Tyranny Char Stats and Money

I figured out to change char stats this is for sharing the information.

1) Create a character and start a story.

2) After when game starts save the game.

3) Quit to main menu or just exit the game.

4) Find out the save file location.
Mine was under C:/Users/%user.name%/Saved Games\Tyranny
file name is "yourcharactersname b5c8d6907ac748fbab063da76d425222 .savegame" or someting like that.

5) Open file with winrar. The list should be:
- screenshot.png
- saveinfo.xml
- MobileObjects.save
- LifePath.lvl
- LifePath.fog
- globals.dat
- AR_0801_EdgeringRuins.lvl
- AR_0801_EdgeringRuins.fog
- 0.png
Note: If you do this after you begin AR_801... could be different.

6) Take "MobileObjects.save" out of winrar to any folder (and make another copy for backup)
DO NOT CLOSE WINRAR

7) Open "MobileObjects.save" with wordpad or notepad++.

NOW WE EDIT:
GOLD: Find lines and just change your value to 99999 on both lines.

<Simple name="InitialValue" type="System.Single, mscorlib" value="99999" />
CHAR STATS: Find lines for BaseResolve. just change the value. Ex: 13 to 54
<Item>
<Simple value="BaseResolve" />
<Simple type="System.Int32, mscorlib" value="54" />
</Item>
Other stats are just below.

Note1: Since line row is important do not copy paste what I wrote to your file, just search and change value between " ".
Note2: If you're far in the game other companions' stats will appear as well. First lines (upper side) are you char's and second is verse's and so on.

8) Save what you did and just click, drag and drop in winrar. Say OK.
Close winrar.

9) Load the game and voila!

Thanks. This info can be really helpful with a lot of other bugs, too, without having to turn off trophies by using the cheat console. It would be great if someone could figure out all the code and what it does. OR, alternatively, one could simply find the point in that whole mess where it says that trophies are enabled and disabled and figure out how to manipulate THAT, since most of this stuff is much easier to manipulate via the cheat console, and it allows various bugs to be worked around without the almost non-existent "support" from Paradox (Paracox? Pair-of-♥♥♥♥♥? Bag-o'-cox? Bagacox? I can't seem to figure out a wieldy enough, appropriately-insulting pun on their name, yet) and Obsidian. It would be great to have that, maybe it could get this game attention for being an easy trophy game while still being a good game? Maybe platforms that have trophy systems would take notice and get pissed, and the publisher and devs would finally have to start paying attention to it? That's probably just wishful thinking, though. Anyway, I know I could use it, to fix the bugs with the debuff auras you get as reputation rewards from factions, where they just suddenly stop functioning even though you still have them. Just having a modding community in general for this game would be nice, too.

I want to ask a quick question here, what is sps? I'M comparing two weapons after finally coming back to the game to play it.

Another question, if I skill one had weapon and two weapons, to they both affect each other? I might have wasted to upgrade points already.

edit: Can you use two skilltrees without bigger problems? I'm interessted in two and for now I can only use one.

Also for achievements being disabled by cheats, does that apply to this method?

No, that doesn't apply to this method, only the cheat console.

And lol, there's someone on the internet who still doesn't know what Winrar is? That's a pretty uncommon sight, these days. Well, okay, then what about 7zip? Or just file compression in general? Like, there's a point beyond which I'm just not equipped to help you.

I looked it up online, and I know what zip is but I don't do programming or moding so I had not heard of it. I have since gotten the free trial version from www.rarlab.com.

And I was not even sure anyone would even see the question because of how old it is, but as I said was looking for a different thread when I found it.

Correct, that's what it is. And I wouldn't recommend ever paying for one of those programs, since you can always get it for free.

RAR is a compressed file format similar to zip and 7z. For some historical reason I don't know, RAR format is particularly popular in the gaming community. WinRAR is a proprietary app for compressing/decompressing RAR files. https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
