How to get the Loyal Ending?
I played Tyranny when the game was out
I was expecting for the game to have a Loyal-Ending
So i did all i could to get to it

Tried to apply Tunon's laws as best as i could
Tried to stay as impartial i could
Tried to maintain good relation-ship with the Disfavored and the Scarlet Chorus
So of course i betrayed both, because they weren't acting for Kyros but themselves

So when i got to the end
And explained that to Tunon
I was thinking "nice, he listened to me"
And then he sayed "Maybe Kyros isn't the good-one, you're the new overlord"
And i was like "wait what? that's not what i wanted"

Basically, i had the anarchist ending even though it wasn't what i wanted AT ALL

Flash-forward today
I got the two DLCs
And i heared there was a "Loyal-Route" now
So i want to play it again and get the ending i wanted this time

I'm already at the end of the First-Act
I saved BEFORE having to choose between the Disfavored/Chorus to get inside the Spire
And INSIDE the spire just before the bosses on the Chorus Route

So, here's my questions:
First, is there really a Loyal-Ending now?
Second, How to get it, should i betray the Disfavored/Chorus, or keep them until the very-end?

I don't see it like that
I mean, Kyros did make the blade-edict
Meaning Kyros knew you were gonna die with the rest of the valley

Any Fate-Bringers would have died from that
Kyros needed someone to read this edict to motivate the tiers
So a Fate-Bringer needed to die in case it failed, so i think it's fair
And as a Loyal Fate-Bringer who want only the best for the empire
I'm happy to do die for it

Wait, why did you delete your comments?

Anyway
So the guy i was talking to deleted his message
In it, he said you could make somes choices at the end of the game,
To imply you were still Loyal to Kyros
He didn't tell what were thoses choices

Is it true?
If yes, what are thoses choices?

Well, it's not the first time Kyros did that tho'
Graven Ashe and his army of Disfavored is basically the same
Albeit his power make his army stronger while Kyros and MC powers focus on pure destruction
So even if he can't fight them off, he can at least be a threat to them

But Kyros still accepted his reddition, and made a Archonte out-of-him
So i think Kyros wouldn't mind someone powerful as the MC as a archonte
Especially if he decided to stay loyal by himself even while having that much power

Plus
Even if MC got powers similars to Kyros
He need the spires and artefacts to fuel them
Which mean that he's still weaker than Kyros who can make edicts without any restrictions

Basically
Kyros is still much stronger than MC
Especially considering the fact that Kyros can basically say "everyone in this region will die"
Without difficulties
So i'm pretty sure Kyros would kill MC if it was it's volonty

I think the whole situation with the tiers
Was some sort of test for the Fate-Bringer
After all, he already read a Edict once, and Kyros purposely sent him to read a second-one
And one that would kill him if he couldn't break-it

Not perfectly sure why Kyros would do that tho'
Could be to find a better Archonte than Ashe and Nerat to take hold on the tiers
Could be to find a sort of successor, someone with similar power
Or it could simply be to solve the situation in the tiers in any-ways possibles

But then he wouldn't keep Bleden Mark and Tunon alives if he really wanted to kill all the archons
So if we're following this logic
My only guess is that Kyros wanted to kill the archons trying to defy it's authority

I can understand for Bleden Mark, since he's basically a warped-tool
He does his job wonderfully, but he's also a big threat
Same for Nerat, Ashe, and Sirin of course

But as for the Fate-Bringer and Tunon, It's a weird reasoning
Why would Kyros want to kill them if they remains loyals to the very-end?

Especially since Tunon is perfectly Loyal toward Kyros and keep abbiding his law
(which makes his sudden betrayal at the end of game totaly out of character)

Yes, but it does also make Kyros stronger
By logic, someone's higher than someone feared, is even more feared

That's why Bleden is so powerful, and always stay in the dark
So he can stand as some kind boogy-man who's ordered only by Tunon and Kyros itself
Therefore, it makes Tunon much more powerful, as it's imply Bleden will do his bidding

So it dosn't really make sense for Kyros to kill thoses loyal to it
It make sense to kill Ashe and Nerat
As Ashe get more powerful simply his own army respect him because he's a good general
And Nerat get more powerful because he's freacking insane, and everyones knows it

Both have their own armies
And are feared Kyros enemies

But as for singles individuals without any forms of armies
Getting feared/respected only because they're doing Kyros biddings
It should make both of them stronger

Kyros for being their respected/feared leader
And characters like Tunon/Fate-Bringer simply because they're Kyros loyals-tools
Theyrefore it dosn't make much sense for Kyros to try to kill them

Because Kyros would get weakned by that
As Kyros would have no-one to represent it's own power

Let's make this situation:

You angered some sort of powerful person
Let's say the President

What would generate the most fear in you?
-Being chased by a bunch of no-names paws he sent after-you
-Or by someone unfamously known for always doing his bidding without failing?
XxGreen AlphaxX Apr 2, 2018 @ 6:59am
That's not wrong neither
But even if Kyros is powerful, i doubt she/he's strong enough to be able to administer everything in the whole world without having somes servants

And as feared and respected Kyros might be
She/he can't stop conflicts and problems from rising-up
So one-day or the other
A situation will occur, and a strong individual will rise-up from it

So it would make more sense for Kyros to keep somes loyals already powerful individuals under it's hand
So they can handle the problems for Kyros while representing it
Gaining respect, fear, control, and more power in the name of the empire

Respect/fear is easily earned when the situation are right
Win a fight
-The fair-way to get respecte
-The unfair-way to get feared
And then become a icône

And if Tyranny characters get stronger with respect and/or fear
How did the Ashe and Nerat become so incredibly powerful?
Because they both inspired one of them

Nerat for having no control whatsoever on it's own army, and being a complotist
Ashe for maintaining a strong-disciplined army while taking care of it

Actually
Now that i think of it
It's exactly what happens to you in the game
Yes the Fate-Bringer already managed to get a little famous from the conquest
But he wasn't half-as-strong as he is since the tiers-situation

Since he was in a situation where he was representing someone much stronger than the two already really-powerful generals
He only gained in respect AND fear for every-actions he made

Only because the choices he made were both scary and good for the two fighting factions
That's why the Fate-Bringer get so powerful
And you get to do whatever you want with it

Considering the anarchist ending
Where peoples suddenly discover someone else than Kyros can make edicts
It's reasonnable to guess he's only gonna get more powerful as long as he keeps using his power to instill fear in his enemies

So from this standpoint
I think it would make much more sense for Kyros to keep him as the most powerful pawn possible if he decided to remain loyal
