Going to Lethian's Crossing First

Found out today you're not suppose to go to Lethian's Crossing first, apparently it can break some of the quests. You're also allowed to guess the puzzle to unlock the spire, and considering it doesn't even require a guess, it's kind of weird. It literally shows you the full symbol on the second rubbing. I always did find it really weird you could unlock the second tower so early.

My question is: Will I now never be able to get passed the locked inside door? I have a feeling what's his face the leader won't give me the quest now.

It's a quite well-known known 'problem' as such, yes - did the same thing during my playthrough and find it weird that the developers apparently didn't expect the player to choose that course of action... And yes, as far as I know, you won't get past that locked door now...

Also is that the only quest that is messed up, and how much am I missing out by not doing it?

Is this still a bug??? Hopw far do you need to go before it concurs ,,, i have a save at Ironhaul trail ( before entering Lethian) and a save before leaving the spire for the first time.

Being able to go to Lethian's Crossing at the start of Chapter 2 is still possible. It's never been a problematic "bug" in the slightest for me, and if it affected any quests I never noticed it. Never knew it was unintended until I stumbled on info about it.

I think the only way you can really bork things (having completed the game), is by either A) activating the spire, or B) talking to the mayor.

I've activated the spire early on every run after my first one and have talked to the mayor every time, and the only oddity I've noticed is that when you go back for the main quest and reach the forge, Eldian initiates a conversation with you after Zdenya leaves and there aren't any special dialogues, just his remaining bit where you can ask about the town.

There's a huge quest in there where you have to beat a bunch of bane and stuff. Could you still do that?

Are you talking about when Zdenya and Eldian go out to see if the Magebane is working properly and then Eldian gives you the key to go in so you can check the vicinity, then you go in and check, get one or two encounters, leave and find that Raetommon is attacking? Other than that, I don't believe so.

Not having the full glyph image is expected to work, as the game says "you can guess the full image now".

Hmm I activated the Spire, butr not spoken to the mayor i Dont think ( what his name?) though have explored all of it, only found out about the bug because i came on here to see if there was supposed to be any quests there ... as only had " Kill the Garrison " no one else with a name had any quest options when i spke to them , though a dead body had a letter (quest item) within the building gloing to the spire ... so saying should not be bugged? or just head to tunon before going to lethian from Ironhaul to make certain >?

No there's a part after Raetommon goes in to the old walls to unleash the bane on Lethian's crossing and you have to stop him.

Everything you've mentioned composes the "Main Quest" portion of Lethian's Crossing, which cannot be done at the start of Chapter 2 when its first available. The nature of this bug is just that you shouldn't be able to go there in the first place when Chapter 2 starts.

But like I said before, I don't see anything getting borked by going early, or haven't noticeably so.

Ah well, I was under the impression it broke things, but I guess not. Really by the time you unlock that spire you're 80 percent to the end so it's weird they wait so long to give it to you. Clearly the game was usppose to be longer.
