Ah, no biggie. I have tons of other things to play.
gm_dishonored < 6 (mine was *zero*)
Loyalty >= 3
Ashe not dead
Player is Disfavored Path
Amelia not dead
Verse not sacrificed
Verse not killed by Ashe in act 1
Player didn't tell Barik they would kill Ashe
Still no romance scene. What a disappointment. The only way to see this bit of the story is from someone else's playthrough on YouTube, and that person didn't even pick the dialogue options I would've chosen - so there's literally no way to read the words I wanted, even though I jumped through all the hoops. If there was even some data extraction utility that just let me read the intended dialogue, I could be content, but I know of no such thing for this game.
I can't understand how they haven't patched this.
I love Obsidian. When they're good, they're *so* good. But they frequently falter in the final act of their games and deliver something buggy and incomplete at the end. It's like vision and project management are the archons of their games: only one can win.
Well, you are more commited than I was, and it absolutely sucks that it is not working. (Hugs)
I did enjoy the game, but I am not picking up POE games.
Me: Soldier, Female but I think that was NOT the issue.
The issue is that I haven't confess my feelings before going with the bath scene. the bath scene is trigerred by OTHER PARTY MEMBERS
1) Ashe/Verse whatever must survive
2) Go to smith without any other party member except Barik
3) Remove Armor
4) Go to central tower
5) Love Confession "option 3 I think"

6) Go Back to the smithy with VERSE/other party members to trigger bath
7) Choose to help him bathe
8) Choose option 4 for sexy times.

Took about a year but the power of lust have no bounds
What especially gets me about this is that I crowd-funded both PoE games but I didn't enjoy them 10% as much as Tyranny, which totally flew under my radar until I was given a copy. It's such a shame it hasn't been as successful as PoE. In spite of this issue with the DLC, I think its characters, setting, and mechanics are far superior.
That all worked fine for me (and always did); I was able to do everything you listed. But once in the romance path of the waterfall conversation, he turned my character down no matter what. Did that happen for you too, or did the romance proceed successfully?
Going to do a run with 0 fear.
So going to run KKK mode in order to get into his pants.
On the fear front, I only got one tiny bit of fear (from an unavoidable line if you refuse to drop the armor quest just 'cos Tunon ordered it, minor fear with the accompanying line "you troubled Barik with your lack of fealty"). I wiped that out by avoiding a random Bane encounter. This put Barik at literally zero fear. Didn't make a difference. He respected my character but seemed completely romantically indifferent.
If it helps, in terms of things you might be considering trying, I also attempted to do as much of Barik's armour quest as I could without him in the party (to avoid whatever disapproval of his that I could when he wants us to drop it). This also didn't make a difference.
Once more, I have to say how poorly it reflects on whoever's responsible for not fixing this, whether it's the developer or the publisher.
Anyway, for whatever it's worth, the playthrough wasn't a total waste. For one thing, apart from interactions with Barik and any NPCs important to him, my Binder chose [Glares Silently] at every opportunity, something I hadn't tried yet. Plus I had a save from a couple of hours before the romance failure that was good for embarking on the anarchist path very efficiently. It's amusing to think of this Fatebinder being all "fine, I can't get with Barik, time to destroy everything." It fits with the kind of lunatic who'd actually tailor her actions around the approval of one rigidly authoritarian racial supremacist (however adorable he is in his own way). None of my other Binders were a good fit. :)
Do you also have zero wrath for ashe and Disfavored?
Maybe need to impress the folks first
Edit: Have you trying wearing the Disfavored armour? Maybe he goes only for soldier types in full uniform. ;)
I have posted about here and on the official Paradox forums. To be honest, I was hoping they would see it in one place or another. Think I should drop them an email?
Good luck! Hope they respond. Seems like you've tried everything someone could think of already :)
Edit: I REALLY doubt a single conquest choice is meant to break this.
I mean... so do I... It would be ludicrous of them to develop content intended to be seen by hardly anyone. I listed my few sources of Ashe/Disfavoured unhappiness for the sake of giving max info to my fellow player, not because I think it makes the remotest bit of sense for them to block off a romance during character creation.
Well, at least I got B out of that armor and got him washed. Eyecandy ftw. Almost as good as three lines description of having sex.
