So. . .Is The Black Company an Inspiration for this game?

Whilst playing this game I've begun to note a bit of a pattern. Kyros would be the equivalent of the Lady, the Archon's are the Taken, and the Bronze Brotherhood seems to be something similar to the Titular Black Company itself. Perhaps I am just reading too much into this, but The Voices of Nerat simpy canNOT stop reminding me of Soulcatcher.

Also dat timing. I was just reading that the Black Company got opted for a TV series with Eliza Dushku as the Lady.

Anyway, back on topic, this game is very much in the vein oth that series. But I would probably put Sirin as the Lady equivalent. Being the Archon who hangs out with your group and has issues with your choice for Soulcatcher.

I had the same thought while playing around with character creation last night. I just thought it was me because I'm rereading all the black company books right now. I hope the TV series works out well
