This is just a few extra for those that want them. The portraits a very nicely done, optional content. Had they never been produced no one would have missed them or suddenly felt entitled to them. They also freely allow people to add there own custom portraits.

Now, can we at least agree that the "option" for doing a snapshot would still be nice, whether you like the results or not?

I used to praise Paradox's DLC, because it used to be good. When they first started releasing DLC to their new policy, early in CK2, the DLC were wonderful, at a reasonable price... and they gave 70% of the DLC away for free as a patch for those who didn't buy it.
Then the DLC for CK2 became mediocre... pick em up on sale sort of things.
But a portrait pack DLC for an RPG? Really? That's just daft.
