This.
Not really sure why PC Gamers praise Paradox, they have some of the worst dlc crash-grabs around.
Most games now amount to £1000 of dlc, that are basically snipped of assets, they are terrible.
I was going to point at the Nexus. ;)
This is definitely overpriced considering it's just 20 portraits. The silver lining is that it should be possible to use them in PoE but then again there are tons of portraits available online for free.

With all due respect, you missed my point entirely. Simple fact is, the ability to take a snapshot of the character that you created, rather than select through portraits that do not match, is a very easy thing to make as a feature in a game. As I said, many other games have done this.

Thank you for your input. Fact is, in this game you can't take a snapshot, and the included portraits in most cases do not match your character. In Wasteland 2 you could take a snapshot... even though the characters look, as you say, "like meth addicts".
My point is, in one game you can customize the look and portrait representation better, and in another game you cannot. It isn't like there was some mystical ability for the Devs and programers of Wasteland 2, due to that feature also being present in several other games. It is not ground breaking technology to include it... but at this stage of game engine development, it is lazy to not do so. Offering a Portrait DLC, as nice as they may be, I am sorry, is insulting. Especially when the portraits do not match the character you are able to design.

First time in all my years from Baldur's Gate to Neverwinter and everything inbetween and onward that I've seen or expected payment for something like this, let alone for a mere 20 pictures.
(Most free compilation downloads I go through are in the 500~ portrait range)
I think these guys are a few days late with their April fools joke :S
To their credit, Paradox has done this type of thing with Crusader Kings 2 and Stellaris (both of which I absolutely enjoy). These are simply "cosmetic" DLC's, which mean that they supposedly play no real role in the actual game, other than... cosmetics.
I do take issue with not allowing snapshots during character creation, but I have beaten that horse until it ain't getting up without sugery and a walker :)
