Can't get into Lethian's Crossing without a fight

Finally got around to playing this and made it thru Vendrian's Well siding with the Disfavored (more or less) and unlocking the Spire. So now I have a quest to go the Lethian's Crossing to the next Spire. But the Bronze Brotherhood and Raetommon (or whatever) won't let me cross the bridge @ Ironhaul Trail. No matter what choices I make when I speak to him he won't let me through. Sure I can kill them (and then all the Brotherhood in Lethian's) but something tells me that eliminates multiple quests later on. Am I screwed because I chose the Disfavored or is there some other way in (maybe found later)?

It does not. If you go with the rebels you can sugartalk reatyshit to let you though.

Yeah, that specific part of the game is quite bad in that it bizarrely locks you into killing them if you're Disfavored without it being clear why. Go to the Blade Grave first for a somewhat more satisfying route, because you may get a jaded view of the game based on that experience.

It's clear enough. They hate the disfavored and were secretly working with the Scarlet Chorus during the Conquest.
