Black Mesa Chapter 7: Power Up - Door is closed off

I am at the location where the soldiers are fighting the Gargantua, the door to the left is supposed to be open but it is closed. I have watched many walkthroughs where it shows the door open.

I have restarted the game several times and have verified the integrity of the game files as well.

Can someone please offer any insight on how to resolve this issue?
I would greatly appreciate it.

This is not a bug. Run to where the garg came from, climb up the ladder and go along the pipe on the right. The walkthrough you're watching is outdated, so look for a "Definitive Edition" walkthrough.
