Xen Chapter Bugs

When playing on the 4th map of Xen, the world around me would disappear and then reappear for a quick second. This happened three times before I reached the end of the map.

My specs:
CPU - GeForce GTX 1080
Processor - AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
Installed Ram - 16GB
Display - LG Ultrawide Monitor (2560 x 1080)

There's an area with a ton of laser trip wires.
I died there and accidentally ended up alt-tabbed out while it was loading the save.
This has resulted in it being zoomed in after loading but the zoom key wasn't doing anything, changing weapon made it zoom out but for some reason I then found my primary fire key was set to enter in the options menu. I reset that to mouse1, but still even though clicking mouse1 works to make weapon changes happen after scrolling through, it will not actually fire.
reloading a save isn't helping, I had to quit and reload the game, fortunately that worked.

Also, it's a bit daft that if you clear that area, then sneak back and blow it up well out of the blast radius and survive, you can wait as long as you like but trying to walk back through and explorer is instant death with no warning.

It happened again later on a minute or so walk after 2 teleports, but i wasn't alt tabbed, it just spontaneously happened while I idly left clicked the mouse during a loading screen.

win10 x64 v1903 fully up to date.

Chapter 15 - bm_c4a1b1:
When you reach at the point where you got to climb all the way trying to dodge the barnacles at beginning I can't go forward if I keep being blocked by a invisible wall in this exact location.
P.S. It seems the problem is being caused by a invisible polygon after the jump to the other side.

Arriving at the clean crystalin water with no fogs like the previous one. The Itchyssaur have no interactions, don't attack the player back if we crounch at the shallow area of the lake. And crounching at the edges, players will be able to ''breath'' underwater.

P.S. Beware at the same exact locations, players can equip all weapons and fire at all without restriction underwater.

If I reload a save (freshly generated one mind you) in any level, certain materials such as water, skybox, lights and more will be corrupted on reload and display incorrectly. This spans across every level including earthbound but its worse in the Xen levels. If I reload the map by typing in the "map" command from the developer console, the level looks normal again. Fresh install and no config added.

There seems to be a draw distance issue with the xen cliff walls. When at a distance, they display a gigantic grid pattern on large walls with displacements.

Not really a Xen related bug, but somehow I cannot turn off anti aliasing? It always resets when I close the menu after pressing apply. It's causing major lags, even in Earthbound levels.

Seems to be bugged to this beta since June beta brand the antiliasing feature could be turned off by simply adjusting in the game options.

And how do you do that? I didn't really notice back then, but the lag now is MASSIVE.

In the 5th map after the first Beneathacles cave (when you exit out into a pond with 2 Ichy's and a bunch of pads you have to jump on), after jumping from the pads onto the first bit of land (think it has a dead HEV scientist), I got a crash/engine error.

so the bugs I ran into were, low frame rate in the level after the xen swamp, gonarch getting stuck after I defeat her for the first time, and low frame rate in almost all the levels in gonarchs lair.

Actually I verified my game files and the game ran fine (small lags still, but nvm that). Maybe my PC needs some "getting used to"?

map c4a1c1 - the 2nd crystal laser room with exploding plants everywhere. There does not appear to be anywhere I can go to safely activate a bomb?
Also I get trapped into the area which means no matter where I go activation of a bomb causes the entire area to explode?
EDIT: this is not a bug...silly me its a puzzle ... but I was able to cheat by shooting a rocket up the elevator before using it and it explodes the whole area (without killing myself).

Also those alien elevators with 2 buttons are dodgy, I had one close the door on me when I was on the outside and this makes it unrecoverable. ... more elevator issues, got stuck in door closing ... got stuck at top half way in forcefield.

There's a room where you need to find two cables, and a there's a sparking switch box they both plug into. I'd tried every possible combination of the ceiling plug connected to one of the three wall plugs and the other cable between the two remaining plugs and it wasn't working, I spent ages looking around to try and find if there was something else I needed to repair the sparking section of cable or something tiny I'd missed but there's nothing.
Reloading the level and just doing it again it worked straight away.

Gluon Gun (and some other effects) don't seem to like certain water patches in Xen.

You can go around the side of this petal, then jump down to blow up the centre, Its not really much faster to do this though..
