Game not opening

I used to be able to play the game not long ago... Now for some unknown reason I can't anymore, and the only thing I've done is update to Windows 11. Does anyone knows how to solve this or is this even happening to someone else?

"Adding "-oldgameui" (without the quotes) into the startup properties fixed it." This solucition by a user in another post, solved it.

Thanks for the help anyways. I'm planing on doing a fresh OS install soon because it's not the only game having issues launching.

I preferred deleting my original post as this was a rather drastic solution. We've always recommended players to always reinstall an OS fresh rather than upgrading directly, as we know that it seems to cause issues with system files.
