The game won't start up, at all.

I got the game yesterday, I installed it and attempted to boot up the game, and it did say it was starting up but a few seconds later, it just went back to saying "play" without a window popping up at all.

I tried a few more times, still nothing. I tried to do the trouble shooting, Clean uninstall, nothing. Verify game files, nothing. Updated my drivers and made sure they we're up to date. Nothing. I need some help as I really want to play this game.

These are my specs.
12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700F 2.10 GHz
Nivida 3080 Graphics Card.
48 GB ram.
2 TB of storage.
I'd appreciate some help.

Ah. I mainly used the troubleshooting pinned in the discussions, I'll try the solutions here and I can get back to ya

Same here. There is splash screen, and then game turns off.

Holy Crap I'm not alone! I just reinstalled yesterday and have been plagued by this same issue. I hope some one has a solution.

I think that issue is a steam issue. I had it happen once before when trying to play Total Annihilation. a quick fix is to go into steam app local files and run the exe directly.

Can't say for others with this problem but I have tried this along side trying to run as Administrator. Neither Worked somehow.

Bought the game too yesterday and everything works just fine incl. the Blue Shift mod. I'm on PC Windows 10.
