The Black Ops Assassins
Is anyone else having trouble with the Black Ops Assassins on Hard mode, specifically on Lambda Core? Because like,OMG, forget the helicopter and tank fights, THESE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are the worst thing ever! A single one of them can take you down in under 15 shots, they love to flank and attack you in numbers, the Hivehand can't lock on to them for some reason, and to top it all of they're lightning fast and can turn ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ INVISIBLE (well technically not "invisible" more like some sort of cloaking mechinism, sort of like what the Predator has)! It's not like you have much of an advantage either since you're surrounded by giant metal containers and countless corners that they can and WILL take use against you when they can. I can't tell wether or not the AI is smart or cheap. I feel like I'm going to have to bump it down to, like, easy or something just for this one part and then change it back once it's over, but I don't want to have to do that, it would shatter my fragile heterosexuallity. So does anyone have some sort of strategy on dealing with this part? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

P.S Crowbar Collective, the tripmines and rocket launcher ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck. please fix them.

They are bugged. They're doing something like 2x the damage they are meant to. This will be fixed in the next patch.

I didn't have any problems with them. The first time when i get out from the lift i used the MP5 Greaned Launcher to eleminate them, and the second time i just camped in the little corridor and watched their shadows under the door. When i spotted them, i opened the door and BANG! xd

I nearly cried when i had to fight those idiots. It was a disaster but in the end i managed to kill every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Man, that was an awesome feeling, you only get that feeling after beating a boss in Dark Souls or Bloodborne.

Enter the room from the hallway you come from. On a nearby cargo crate will be an assasin standing there for about 3 seconds until she moves. You get this window to snipe her.

Then go back into the hallway and let the door close. Every so often let it open again and an assasin will be in one of three places: In front of the door, in the little bump to your left, or immediately to the right of the door. If she's to the right slam your back to the right side of the hall because she will jump past the door while shooting into it. This is your opportunity to snipe her as she lands in the pit to your left.

Rinse and repeat.

Once the assasins are no longer doing this (you'll kill 4-5 before they stop) you'll only have two more to deal with. Cargo area is clear but the stairs up are not. One is on the stairs and one is in the hall at the very top of the stairway. The one on the stair WILL shoot down at you as she moves to the hall with her buddy, so be prepared to kill her the second you see her or she'll be much trickier to kill and take away all your health.

The one by herself in the hall just sort of stands there while you finish the job. She's easy.

The moment you see them, dodge their bullets and charge at them with a shotgun. That's how I got past them when you first meet them. They die in funny ballet positions when you kill them though...

Oh cool. Sorry for being rude about the whole rocket launcher/tripmine thing but they do need to be worked on.

I did almost exactly the same. They're killable, definitely.

I took them out just like in the original Half-Life. Stayed crouched, worked my way around the room perimeter looking through the scope on the crossbow. As soon as I could see just part of the assassin, TWANG! Dead assassin.

I stayed at one end of the map and pretty much killed them with the SMG. Took a me about 3 or 4 trys

I finished Apprehension yesterday and it wasn't possible to get rid of that sneaky girls in pseudo-nanosuit without one-shoting them with the crossbow.

Nice challenge, but still they should be able to be faced in direct combat without dying within a second.
I don't mind using my bow ammo for them, but there should still be a chance of fighting them otherwise.

Same here, but since I play on hard mode it's quite impossible to have a direct look on those hard-boiled girls without losing MUCH health.
They're pretty accurate.

I needed much tries before I recorded a satisfying outcome.

After a few failed attempts keeping my distance, I tried rushing them with my shotgun. It felt effective but I got denied anyway.

I decided to rush in with my crowbar and after a few more failed attempts, I ended up killing the three in the area with the crowbar. They just stand there if you can get the crowbar hits on them.

It seems a good way to deal with them is to get up close if you can get them in 1 on 1 situations. If more than one has a line of sight on you, you're dead for sure.

Just a theory, but I hadn't tested this: if they take damage, they get stunned for a split-second. If that's the case, I want to try using the glock on them, as its accurate with a decent firing rate.
