Subtitles not working

I tried activating subtitles (both closed captions and dialogue only), but it didn't work.

I thought that maybe it didn't have PT-BR (Because Source games always use the same language you use on Steam), but IIRC, BM has Brazilian Portuguese.
I don't really need it, but I like having it on.

Is someone having the same problem?

Edit: Now that I think about it, I think BM doesn't have PT-BR subtitles, I confused it with something else. If that's true, I think I know how to activate english subtitles even though my steam isn't in english.

2nd Edit: I tried activating english subtitles, using the 'cl_language' console command, but it didn't work. I looked for the subtitles files in the BM folder, and I didn't find any file for any language. Does BM's subtitles work differently than HL2's subtitles?

I only found files for the menus, and those included many languages, including PT-BR.

I cannot get english subtitles to work either.
I even tried the -cc_lang "english"- addition.

That's what I meant with 'activating subtitles', the subtitles option is in the Audio Tab in the Options. I tried both Closed Captions and Dialogue only, but neither worked.

There was an update a few hours ago, later I'll see if that fixed it.

Well, it seems the last update also changed the game to be in english completely.

Subtitles are working for me fine, try to add -language english in the lanuch options
