probably people complaining about how different Xen is
1: Weapon Damage - needs more Damage on Higher difficulties to compensate for the damage you the player take. I really don't like using mods that increase damage but I do.
2: More enemies/Increased spawns - For Hard difficulty to make it feel more alive and deadly. I would double the enemies for each spawnpoint per cell. Except for the bosses as they are mostly scripted to die in a certain way that allows the player to progress forward in the game.
3: HEV Power - On Hard difficulty reduce HEV suit power to 50%. Too many power cells that I end up leaving a bunch of leftovers behind. Having the max capacity dropped to 50% on Hard difficulty will ensure I use more when taking damage.
Playing on a 3080 Ti shouldn't pose a performance issue with a few extra enemies.
I don't think a lot of people are complaining about Xen being different, it's just a bad level in general without comparing to Half Life's Xen stages.
I would agree to a higher difficulty setting being added. Nightmare difficulty which does everything I mentioned. I like to have my skills challenged by a unpredictable A.I..
HECU should no longer call out Frag Grenade throwing instead they use their mics to alert their squads of Frag Grenades.
^ First sentence on the store page, cant be more clear then that.
people got issues reading ?
I love the game I still play it but It could use a few updated to keep it alive.
I hope they release Blue Shift as a standalone so I can switch between them if I need to.
I hope Operation Black Mesa gets more focus and hopefully more people to help get it done. OBM should also have a Standalone version.
Blue Shift starts before Black Mesa starts with Barney.
Adrian doesn't arrive until Surface Tension chapter as Adrian is on one of the VTOL's flying past.
Best video ever.

Not Blue Shift you have to replace some files to play Blue Shift which makes it hard to play Black Mesa because. Hopefully they will do a standalone on the steam store for Blue Shift and Operation Black Mesa.
