How to equip and throw grenades on controller?

Tried every single button and nothing places the grenade in Gordon's hand. Do I really have to press the keyboard bind instead? If so I'll never use nades!

Also, does this game support HDR? Google tells me it has done in the past, in a fashion.

There's no 'throw grenade' button unless you make a bind for it. Grenades are the first weapon in the 5th class of weapons, and you have to swap to them to use them if you don't have a roll or throw grenade bind.

You may have to select it first before throwing it. Do you have the ability to cycle through your weapons and locate the grenade?
