How To Install Mods From Gamebanana

Can someone please help me!? I tried to install it the way I do for Half Life 2. It doesn't work! Need help ASAP.

This shows you how to set up the custom folder for Black Mesa. This can be used to install mods from sites like Game Banana

The custom folder for BM is slightly different from HL2 as you need to change some information in the gameinfo.txt

Is this a tutorial for the game that you need to buy? Not just the Black Mesa Mod? I bought the game, it was on sale.

And maps go in the maps folder after they are unzipped.

In fact,you don't have to set up a "custom" folder,you can put the mods into "Black Mesa\bms\addons"

There is no "addons" folder in the bms directory.
