For meaningful advice, post your system specs.
My system specs are:
GeForce GTX 970
Intel Core i7-4770
Windows 10
500gb SSD
16GB RAM
As you can see, there is no problem with my PC. 1920x1080 works fine in windowed mode, but not in fullscreen.
Thanks, Regards!
With your rig you should have no problems whatsoever, but it's hard to diagnose because the term "lag" is so misused, broad and vague. Are you referring to stuttering? Overall low framerate? Wonkiness in the game behaviour? Could you clarify what precisely the issue is?
Hmm, here is what I think "windows 10 is a beta is and not ready for primetime". There are other gaming issues on 10 and get mentioned here: http://www.pcworld.com/article/3025393/windows/new-windows-10-preview-build-adds-edge-history-but-gamers-should-be-wary
And

Until 10 matures playing in borderless widowed more might be your best option.
Fullscreen on Windows 10
Enable Borderless Fullscreeen. If your game gets a black screen on Windows 10 in fullscreen mode, use this quick fix:
Go to Black Mesa's "Properties" and then "Set launch options."
Enter "-window -noborder".
If you use an adaptive sync monitor, set it to run in windowed mode if possible. This is an option for G-Sync at least.
Keep your bio's (both mb and gpu) updated along with drivers.
TLDR
Drivers/OS needs work
PS nice specs
It could be Windows 10, but a large portion of the dev team (myself included) run Windows 10 with no problems at all.
@nRykac - so it occurs even when you are standing still doing nothing (not looking around or moving)? It only occurs on fullscreen, not on windowed?
Thanks so much!
I tried "-window -noborder" but it didn't work :(
All the drivers are updated, of course.
Exactly, as you said. I do nothing and the issue is still there. Only on fullscreen and with 1920x1080. If I set the graphics in low, the same behavior happens.
The only difference with 1920x1080 is that it has the word "native" when I select it, but maybe I doesn't matter.
Any other detail I can give you?
Thanks!
Regards!
The current public beta (which we're aiming to deploy to the main branch of the game in a few days) has some optimisation fixes. Could you try opting into that and seeing if it resolves your issues? You right click on it in Steam, go to properties --> betas, and from the dropdown select "public beta" it should then download an update. Try again, see if that helps, and let me know? Thanks.
Disable: Wait for vertical sync located in options / video / advanced.
In case it's already disabled in game, disable it in Nvidia control panel as well, don't cap fps to 60 in Source games, let it default 300.
Multicore rendering is grayed out in the menu in Black Mesa.
Hey, I tried it again, and it works!!! With that mode, I see like 300fps constantly. No stuttering. Thank you!!
I joined to the beta, but was the same. No change. Also, el main menu has the stuttering, not only at the game. I return to the alpha version and use the "-window -noborder" and works fine for now. Thanks!
