How to transfer game progress from one computer to another?

Working through Black Mesa and want to try it on a better computer, how do you transfer your progress? Thanks.

Usually copy the save files. You find them the easiest way, by right-clicking on the game in the Steam Library and click "Properties" and "Browse local files".

But this might not work depending on the differences between your old and new pc. Better to finish the chapter and start from the chapter menu on the new pc a new game (unless you carry the hat or pizza).

This game has cloud sync, you don't need to copy anything unless it is a different OS.

i just steam cloud
